BIO:
Don Aguillo is a comic, gaming, and literary illustrator and graphic designer, currently living and working in San Francisco, California. With a background in fine arts along with production and stage design, he entered the comic industry through self-published anthologies with IH Studios, and launched his creator-owned series, Rise. Don moved heavily into comic cover work when he was brought on by Todd McFarlane Productions/Image Comics to work on Spawn, King Spawn, Scorched, and the Gunslinger titles (current), and soon after contributed his sequential work for a story in the DC Pride 2023 anthology, working on several projects at DC since and currently, including covers for Superman, JLA and Outsiders. He is a current artist for various Upper Deck games and card sets, Second Dinner’s Marvel Snap, Disney/Ravensburger’s Lorcana and the upcoming Overpower Card Series. He worked under Adi Shankar for his Netflix project Guardians of Justice with concept art for the characters in his universe. Don’s other cover work includes Killadelphia (Image) and Beastlands (Darkhorse), Power Rangers Prime (BOOM) and also with independent creators across the industry on various projects. He’s currently working on the reboot for Rise as well as an upcoming horror anthology dealing with Filipino folklore and urban legend integrated through the uniquely Filipino-American lens.
